IRVINE, Calif.--- Raylene Roybal reeled in this week's PacWest Pitcher of the Week honor. This is Roybal's second PacWest Pitcher of the Week achievement of the year. This week the Redshirt-Junior was selected for her outstanding performances against Pace University and nationally-ranked No. 12 Concordia.

On Thursday, Roybal earned a win against Pace where she threw a one-hitter against the Setters. Roybal picked up four strikeouts and tossed two one-two-three innings against Pace in the Eagles' 2-1 win. 

On Saturday, Roybal threw an incredible game against No. 12 CUI. Roybal went 10 innings against the Golden Eagles where she only allowed seven hits and two earned runs to score in Biola's 3-2 loss. Roybal struck out seven batters, recorded seven scoreless innings and threw four 1-2-3 innings versus nationally-ranked Concordia. 

Biola plays next on Saturday, Mar. 25 at 12 and 2 p.m. against Azusa Pacific.
