Box Score AZUSA, Calif. --- A morning match got away from the Eagles (4-6) on Saturday. The BU squad faced off against the 13th-ranked Azusa Pacific Cougars (12-4) and fell in a 7-0 sweep. 

Doubles play began the day in Azusa. Courts one and three went the way of the host squad for a 1-0 APU lead. Gaby Carvajal and Lilly McNeill were cut short in No. 2 doubles but held a 4-3 advantage before going unfinished.

The match transitioned to singles play and continued in APU's favor. All six matches wrapped up in straight-sets for the Cougars. Carvajal and Amelia Kitts pushed their second sets past six games but could not force a third set.

The Eagles will look to rebound on Wednesday with a matchup at Point Loma at 12:00 pm.
