Box Score LA MIRADA--- The Biola Women's Tennis team came back from behind to beat Cal State LA 4-3 at the Biola Tennis Center.

Cal State LA (1-1 overall) stormed ahead of Biola (2-0 overall) with back-to-back wins on courts 1 and 3 to take the doubles point (1-0). 

Gaby Carvajal tied up the match quickly with a 6-2, 6-1 win on the fifth court. Lilly McNeill put the Eagles ahead with a 6-4, 6-4 win on the fourth court. 

The match got interesting as the Golden Eagles tied up the match on the second court (2-2). Alexandria Mann gave Biola the edge with her 6-4, 6-3 win over CSULA's Alexandra Hincu and Colbeyshae Emery's victory over CSULA's Sarah Olmos clinched Biola the win. Emery's clinching-win was a three-set battle. Emery lost the first set 6-4 and came back with two strong (6-4, 6-2) wins to seal the deal for Biola.

Meanwhile, Amelia Kitts was putting up a strong fit against CSULA's Savaughna Mayo that she ended up losing 7-6, 2-6, 7-5 resulting in Biola's final score of 4-3 against the Golden Eagles.

Biola's next match will be on Monday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. at Fresno Pacific.
