LA MIRADA --- Biola aquatics showed its multifaceted excellence with CSCAA Academic All-America Team recognitions. Both the men's and women's squads earned the distinguished honor for the second-straight semester.

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) selected 803 teams from 479 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2022 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2022 team grade point averages and represent 19,426 student-athletes. 

The minimum GPA to reach the achievement was a team mark of 3.0 in the fall semester. The women's squad well surpassed the standard with a team GPA of 3.46 in the fall. The men also got the job done with a team mark of 3.13.

Academic excellence paired perfectly with the Eagles' strength in the pool. The BU men's squad capped off the PCSC Championships with a crown, taking the victory over a field of nine teams. The Biola women's team took fourth at the conference meet, defeating nine other foes.
