Eagles Fall to Urban Knights on Senior Saturday

The Biola men’s soccer team had two seniors play their last matches tonight at Al Barbour Field and the Eagles fell 3-0 to Academy of Art.

LA MIRADA—The Biola men's soccer team had two seniors play their last matches tonight at Al Barbour Field and the Eagles fell 3-0 to Academy of Art.

Travis Coombs and Diego Preciado were Biola's two seniors who were celebrated before the match. Coombs played 54 minutes and Preciado logged nine against ART U. 

The Urban Knights came out strong with two goals in the first half and added a third in the second in their 3-0 win. The Eagles fought to even the score but were thwarted in every attempt.

The Eagles and Urban Knights were even with shots, both teams took 17 throughout the match and both had nine on-goal. The Eagles made ART U's keeper work in the second half where they had seven shots on-goal that were ultimately saved.

Dylan Memory and Robin Glöckle led their team with two shots on-goal. Tomislav Jozinovic, Luca McGreevey Couchman, Justin Eisenmann, Nathan Kovalcik, and Jeremy Larson each had one.

Aidan Burns played 90 minutes in the goal for Biola and made six saves, three in the first half and three in the second.
