FULLERTON, Calif. --- CSU Fullerton played host to the last meet of the regular season for the Eagles. With the PacWest Championships coming on Saturday, Biola sent five student-athletes to compete at the John Elders Invitational on Friday. 

A pair of freshmen hit the course on the women's side, including Alyssa Stumbo and Miranda Zakhar. Zakhar ran for 92nd place and picked up a time of 20:47.2, which was just 0.3 seconds off her personal-best. Stumbo landed in 71st, while grabbing a mark of 20:05.1 in the 5k race.

Lillianna Sosa led the group of Eagles with a time of 19:18.8. The junior placed 51st in a field of 134 on Friday.

Aiden Sherer and Zachary Wallace carried the torch for BU on the men's side, coming in 88th and 113th place, respectively. The duo of sophomores finished within one minute of each other as Sherer came in at 27:26.8 and Wallace at 28:20.8.

The rest of the BU squad will finish out the weekend on Saturday, competing at the PacWest Championships in Fresno, California.
