IRVINE, Calif.---Ethan Hardin was named PacWest Player of the Week for the role he played in the Biola men soccer team's 4-3 comeback win against Point Loma at Al Barbour Field. 

The Eagles were down 3-0 to the Sea Lions with 39 minutes remaining and Hardin would go on to have a hand in three of the four goals that Biola would continue to score. 

He assisted BU's first goal and would continue to score the game-tying goal in the 70th minute and then the game-winner 19 minutes later. 

It was the 89th minute when Hardin knocked in the game-winner. He received a deflected shot from PLNU's goalkeeper with a little less than a minute remaining and managed to find the net when the Eagles' needed it the most.  

When asked about Hardin's performance on Saturday, head coach Joey O'Keefe reflected, "Ethan comes through big for us often and when we needed him to come through on a big stage, he didn't shy away. He stepped up as a captain, put the game on his shoulders and made a big difference for us."

And when Hardin was asked for his thoughts, he responded, "It's just an amazing experience to come from three goals behind and just battle to the end. We never stopped believing that we could get the dub. We fought together and came up with the victory."

Hardin has five goals and one assist so far this season. 

The men's soccer team plays next on Monday, Oct. 16 at Hawaii Hilo. The Eagles and Vulcans face off at 3:30 p.m. PT at the Vulcan Soccer Field.
