IRVINE, Calif.--- Brie Nowak represented the Biola Softball team as a preseason all-conference pick and the Eagles were projected to finish in the top of the pack.

The preseason conference team included one player per position with the exception of three pitchers. Nowak represented Biola as the PacWest's preseason catcher.

Last season, Nowak was a second team selection who saw 38 starts and 37 game appearances. Nowak batted .227 with 27 hits which included five doubles and three home runs.

The Eagles were voted by the conference's coaches to repeat their 2022 finish of third place in the 2023 preseason poll. Ahead of Biola was Concordia in first and Azusa Pacific in second place.
 

Biola begins their regular season on Thursday, Feb. 2 against Northwest Nazarene at Freedom Field. The Eagles and Nighthawks are set to face off at 4 p.m.
