LA MIRADA --- The Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference announced its athletes of the week on Thursday, recognizing the performances of three Eagles. BU swept the diving awards with Eliana Cote and Caleb Pook earning Diver of the Week honors, while Noah Hall came away with the Swimmer of the Week award in his first appearance of the year.

Biola swim and dive were impressive over the weekend, defeating Arizona Christian in a dual meet. The home contest played host to Senior Day festivities, as the men and women squads cruised to 190-33 and 179.5-43.5 wins, respectively.

The first solo swimming event of the Friday meet was the 1,650 meter freestyle. Hall headlined the race, winning with a Lansing Pool record mark of 16:38.56. The event also happened to be his collegiate debut, claiming gold and nine points at the meet. The time was good for fourth in the conference so far this season.

Off of the diving board, Biola's Cote found success on Friday afternoon. The junior claimed the crown in the 3M dive with a score of 245.40. Cote did six dives in the event and concluded with a forward 1.5 somersault with a full twist. In the 1M dive, Cote landed in second place with a mark of 239.65.

Male Diver of the Week, Pook, was the champion of both dives on Friday. The freshman broke both school records in the 1M and 3M dives with scores of 304.00 and 295.90.

The rookie has already made a splash for the Eagles, qualifying for the NCAA National Championships. Pook was the first male nationals qualifier in program history, while holding school records in the 1M and 3M six and 11 dives.

The Eagles will complete their regular season competitions on Saturday at Concordia.
