THORNTON, Colo. --- The opening two rounds of the Swan Memorial saw a lot of action late from Biola, as the team moved into fourth place on the day. Madison Voisard made her presence felt with a round of 68 in round number two, helping her hold a share of the lead after day one.

The Eagle lineup on Monday stayed pretty consistent across the board at the start of competition on Monday. The six BU student-athletes on the course were separated by just three strokes between 78-81.

A team score of 314 through 18 holes set the Eagles up in the middle of the pack. BU was tied for sixth halfway through the day but round two was yet to come.

A new round saw a new Voisard, who turned up the pressure. The graduate transfer was unstoppable with five birdies and an eagle in her first appearance as a Biola Eagle. 

Consistency and crucial strokes led her to the best score of anyone at the tournament at 68 (-4). The huge move forward from Voisard (78-68-146) helped her slide into the top spot in the individual leaderboard with 18 holes left in the tournament.

Brady Turnquist followed in a tie for 20th, individually. The junior posted scores of 79 (+7) and 77 (+5) for a total of 156 on the day. Pars were the name of the game for Turnquist, who tallied 24 pars between the two rounds.

Another BU debut came in from Abigale Morris. The freshman from Buckeye, Arizona opened up her collegiate career with rounds of 80 and 78 on Monday, including a pair of birdies in the final five holes of round two.

Rachel Shaw (79-80-159) rounded out the scorers, helping BU to a total of 617. The team score put the Eagles firmly into fourth place by the end of Monday. Six strokes separated Biola from the third and fifth place squads.

The Eagles will cap off the Swan Memorial on Tuesday with a final round of 18.
