DALLAS, Texas--- Brady Turnquist had a lights out performance for the Biola University women's golf team Tuesday in the final round of the West Regional Preview at the Golf Club of Dallas. 

Turnquist turned in a final scorecard of seven-under-par 65 which thrusted her ahead of 10 athletes that were previously ranked above her. At the conclusion of the first and second rounds, Turnquist was tied for 10th and at the end of the third she held solo possession of the second place spot, nearly overcoming the tournament's medalist Julia Garcia from Dallas Baptist University. 

Garcia (DBU) led the entire tournament while Turnquist rose up from her first round position of 26th on the leaderboard to just one stroke behind DBU's Garcia in the final round. 

Turnquist had an Eagle and 12 birdies in the three-day tourney.

Biola as a team also nailed it in the final round, securing their highest single-round team score of 292 and as a result snagged their best three-round tournament score of 890. The Eagles previous single-round best was 293 at the NCCAA West Regional in 2018 and their three-round combined best record was 894 last season (2021-22) at UH Hilo's Dennis Rose Invitational.

The Eagles capped the invitational in third behind first place Dallas Baptist (285) and second place West Texas A&M (288).

Along with Turnquist, Voisard carded below par in the final round. Voisard hit one-under 71 which tied her for 12th on the leaderboard. Voisard accumulated 37 pars, which was the third best at the three-day invitational.

Following Turnqust in 2nd (211) and Voisard in 12th (219) was Rachel Shaw who was tied for 22nd (225), Melanie Reyes tied for 50th and Abigale Morris tied for 69th (240). 

Emily Cons improved one stroke from the pervious day competing as Biola's individualist, carding three-above par 75 where she tied for 36th overall.

The Eagles now head home to prepare for the HPU Sharks Shootout at the Pearl Country Club on October 25.
