IRVINE, Calif.--- Brady Turnquist was selected as the PacWest Conference Golfer of the Week for her second time this year.

Turnquist won PacWest recognition for her performance at UH Hilo's Dennis Rose Invitational where she won medalist honors.

Turnquist accomplished her mission of defending her crown at the Hapuna Golf Course with two strong rounds. Turnquist was tied for second after the first round, trailing the tournament's leader Arnie Taguines (Texas Permian Basin) by two strokes. 

Turnquist would continue to surpass her competitors by duplicating her first round score of 71.

Turnquist was also the first person in the tournament's 15-year history to win twice.

The Eagles have a bit of a break from competition as they prepare for their spring season which will begin Feb. 5 at the Jack Brown Memorial in Texas.
