LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Last season Dr. Dave Holmquist earned career win number 1,000 in front of zero fans at an empty CU Arena in Irvine. This year, we've got the chance to have fans back in the gym to celebrate the historic feat accomplished by coach and Biola Men's Basketball.

Saturday evening, January 29, we will reflect on Holmquist's tenure as Head Men's Basketball Coach at Biola and celebrate his 1,000 win accomplishment with a special postgame ceremony featuring more than 50 of the program's alumni. We invite all Biolans, past and present, to join us for the game that evening as we give out some commemorative T-shirts and watch the current teams duke it out with Hawaii Hilo.

The women tip-off at 5:30 p.m., men tip-off at 7:30 p.m. and there will be a postgame celebration on center court immediately following the men's game. Biola students, staff, faculty and alumni are free. All others may purchase tickets at https://biola.universitytickets.com/.
