Divers Sweep Conference Awards

Biola gets both PCSC Diver of the week awards following dual meet.

January 25, 2022

LA MIRADA, Calif. — Biola Swim & Dive closed out its regular season with an exciting home meet against UC Santa Cruz last week. The Eagles' efforts were recognized within the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference with a pair of weekly honors.

This week, it was Biola's divers which took home the hardware with both Eliana Cote and Luke Bartruff taking home the conference recognition.

Cote was firing on all cylinders at Lansing Pool on Friday, taking the top spot on both boards for the women. She showed out at her home pool, logging a 208.35 on the one-meter dive and 150.60 on the three-meter. She currently ranks top three in the PCSC

The two event wins last week bring Cote's total to four wins this season.

Luke Bartruff recorded his best scores of the season on both boards to take second-place in each event. He went 175.15 in the one-meter and 150.60 in the three-meter. He currently holds the second-best scores amongst all PCSC members so far this season.

Biola swept the conference diving awards for the week and is now up to five total PCSC Weekly award nods this season.

The Eagles are off from competition until the PCSC Championship meet in late-February in Utah.
