ROLLA, Mo. --- In the midst of the team's preparation for a postseason run, the team continued to collect awards for its incredible regular season campaign. BU teammates Paige Austin and Kayla Neff were honored on Tuesday, being named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-West Region Teams.

The tandem led the Eagles from the circle and at the plate to a 19-13 overall record and a No. 24 national ranking in 2021. The impressive season put Biola in the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships as the second seed beginning on Wednesday.

Austin was selected to the D2CCA All-West Region First Team on Tuesday, following a 10 win season with 131 total strikeouts. The junior added to her pile of awards in 2021, nabbing First Team All-PacWest and NFCA First Team All-West Region distinctions.

Neff corralled a Second Team D2CCA All-West Region recognition to go along with her First Team All-PacWest and Second Team NFCA All-West Region selections this season. The BU catcher put together a top-tier campaign with team-highs in batting average, RBI, home runs and slugging percentage, while tallying a career-high 17 runners caught stealing.

The Eagles will be back in action on Thursday in the NCAA DII West Regional Championships in a contest against the winner between third-seeded Northwest Nazarene and sixth-seeded Central Washington.
