TUCSON, Ariz. --- The Eagles return home from the West Texas A&M Desert Invite with a sixth place finish in their final tournament before the PacWest Conference tournament.

Day two of competition was not as strong for the Eagles who finished with a score of 325 on the day, a 12-stroke increase from Monday's 313 score. A few more strokes on the scorecard didn't hinder BU's strong performance as Biola tied with No. 43 Cameron to finish with a team score of 638.

For the second straight tournament, the Eagles faced-off against a very competitive field of 91 golfers and fared quite well. Biola placed three in the top-25 with Brady Turnquist (T19), Sami Penor (T23), and Jules Loibl (T25) leading the Eagles in scoring. 

Turnquist improved on her day one score by one stroke, shooting 78 on day two to finish with a score of 157. After competing as an individual in her last tournament, Turnquist provided BU with the spark it needed to snag another strong finish. 

Junior Sami Penor was BU's second best scorer finishing two strokes behind Turnquist, carding 159. A strong back-nine of two-over par helped Penor to overcome a rocky front-nine where she shot seven-over.

Jules Loibl rounded out BU's top-25 finishers while improving her day two totals by four-strokes to card a total of 160. Loibl sank a birdie on the eight and twelve holes while recording three bogeys on the day. 

Mary Grace Davidson and Rachel Reynolds rounded out BU's team score shooting 167 and 178 respectively. Although a rough day two for Davidson, she did manage to log seven bogeys on the day while Reynolds improved from her day one score by two-strokes.

Sophia Karnazes competed as an individual for BU and improved on her day one score by two strokes, carding 81 on day two and a final score of 164. Karnazes finished behind Metro State's Sydney Eye to tie for 38th place on the individual leaderboard

The Eagles are back in action on April 19 through April 21, as they head to the Big Island for the PacWest Conference tournament.
