LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- Another solid week of action for the Eagles helped BU softball pick up 15 points in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association DII Top 25 Poll.

The Wednesday poll marked the second-straight poll that featured Biola receiving votes. BU improved its points total to 15, moving within three points of cracking the top 25.

Following a short hiatus from countable action, the Eagles took a four-game weekend series against Azusa Pacific on Friday and Saturday. Each team hosted a doubleheader on the weekend, as BU won three-of-four contests.

Paige Austin highlighted the four-game slate with back-to-back wins at home. The junior drew the start in both games of the Saturday doubleheader and did not disappoint.

Through 12.1 innings in the final three games against APU, Austin did not allow a single run, while collecting eight strikeouts, two wins and a save.

Kayla Neff added to her impressive 2021 campaign with a home run on Saturday, blasting a long ball over the left field fence. The solo shot marked the third of the season, while the catcher remained the lone Eagle with a homer.

BU will look to clinch the PacWest SoCal Pod this weekend, taking on No. 11 Concordia on Friday at Freedom Field.
