LA MIRADA, Calif. --- In a year that has seen so many ups and downs, the consistency of BU Swim & Dive remains the same. Following a perfect season and outstanding performances at the NCAA Swim & Dive Championships on the women's side, BU continues to bring home honors. 

After an impressive performance in Birmingham, Ala., that saw freshman Meghan Tolman break the 100-breaststroke school record during prelims, Tolman earned herself PCSC women's swimmer of the week for the week of March 15-21.

Following her prelims effort, Tolman returned to her starting block where she placed 8th in the championship heat with a time of 1:03.22.

Not only did Tolman write her name in the BU record book, her finish also made her Biola's first NCAA Division II All-American first team recipient. 

Tolam and her two teammates Grace Kling and Kolya Vos earned a 14th place finish at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships in only Biola's second eligible postseason. 

Following the final meet of the regular season for the men, Matthew Trejo and Westin Dawe earned themselves PCSC men's swimmer and diver of the week respectively for the week of March 8-14.

Matthew Trejo had an outstanding performance in the intra squad meet at Pepperdine. He placed first in the 500-freestyle (4:51.47) and 100-fly (52.72). The performance earned Trejo his first career PCSC honor. 

Dawe also earned PCSC honors after competing in Pepperdine's Dive Invite after finishing first in both the 1M and 3M. The junior finished with a score of 144.60 on the 1M and 150.80 on the 3M. For Dawe, his performance earns him his second honor of both the season and his career. 

Biola Swim & Dive is back in action at the PCSC Conference Championships starting on April 14. The four-day event will be hosted at the Woollett Aquatic Center in Irvine, California. For live updates check athletics.biola.edu.
