NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships Preview

BU Women’s Swim & Dive sends three to compete in Birmingham, Ala. beginning on March 18.

March 18, 2021

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- With severe weather threats halting day one of the 2021 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships, events will begin on Thursday, March 18. Biola has three swimmers competing in the meet, Grace Kling, Meghan Tolman and Kolya Vos

The Eagles captured the perfect season, going 7-0 while taking down all four NCAA Division I opponents they faced. BU knows their work on the 2021 season is not quite done. The team has shifted their focus away from their perfect season and they now have their attention drawn to competing and winning at the 2021 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.

Head Coach Ryan Kauth is in his fourth season at the helm of the Biola program. During the past four seasons, Kauth has transformed the Biola aquatics programs and sees a bright future for Eagles Aquatics.

In all he has accomplished, Kauth acknowledges that completing the perfect season against Pepperdine just might be the highlight of his career this far. "When BU touched the wall first and we won the meet, it's something I'll never forget," said Kauth. "It's something I'll be able to carry with me for the rest of my career."

Following an impressive 7-0 season, BU managed to secure multiple PCSC honors with Vos taking home the PCSC Swimmer of the week on Jan. 27 and Feb.17.
