IRVINE, Calif. --- The PacWest sounded like a broken record on Thursday, naming Brady Turnquist as the golfer of the week for the fourth time this season. The sophomore was electric once again to earn the honor, logging her third individual win in 2021.

For the first time in PacWest history the golfer of the week was awarded to one golfer through their first four competitions. Turnquist accomplished the feat for Biola, following four top-20 placements and three tournament victories. The star athlete has remained at two-over or better in all four tournaments to lead Biola this year.

"Brady is a powerhouse and is quickly catching the eyes of everyone in division II golf," said head coach Jane Carr. "She works so hard and it is great to see her efforts pay off.

Heading into her most recent selection as PacWest Golfer of the Week, Turnquist maintained her 2021 pace with a three-day tournament triumph at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate. The sophomore sat atop the leaderboard following each day of competition (72-70-72-214). 

The impressive 214 total through three rounds put Turnquist at two under-par and two strokes ahead of second place. Biola as a team turned in a second place finish in the tournament, thanks to Turnquist's strong showing.

Biola will return to the course in February 2022 at Texas A&M International.
