LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola Swim & Dive has a long history of being elite not just in the water, but in the classroom as well. The 2020-21 academic year is proving to be no different as both the men's swimming & diving team and women's swimming & diving team were recently honored by the Collegiate Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America as Scholar Teams.

The men's team finished fourth in all of NCAA Division II with a fall 2020 team GPA of 3.54. The women's team also earned scholar team honors with a sparkling team GPA of 3.43. In order to be recognized by the CSCAA as a Scholar Team each team needs to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Biola Swim & Dive has earned CSCAA Scholar Team recognition every year since 2016. The CSCAA will select scholar teams following spring 2021 as well. Additionally, they will announce individuals who've earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honors.

Biola Swim & Dive begins its 2021 season tomorrow (1/23/2021) with a dual meet at California Baptist University in Riverside, Calif.
