LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola Tennis announces a well-rounded 2021 schedule, featuring NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA competition with a bevy of home events at the pristine Biola Tennis Center. The season is set to begin with a road doubleheader at Westmont College on Friday, February 5.
Both teams will host their home openers at the BTC just one day later as they play Saint Katherine at 11 a.m. (WTEN) and 1 p.m. (MTEN) on Saturday, September 6. The men's team has eight regular season home matches, while the women will host seven teams from out of town during the regular season. Key dates include Feb. 12 against Concordia Irvine, March 16 against Western New Mexico, March 23 against Metro State, April 3 against Point Loma and a TBD home match with Azusa Pacific.
Each team will host some exhibition matches against some local junior colleges in mid-April to gear up for the 2021 PacWest Conference Tournament, set to be played in Surprise, Arizona at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club from April 21-24.
Biola Women's Tennis was 7-7 overall when the 2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19. The Eagles return All-American

Madison Swaney. An intriguing mix of incoming talent should help this team reach new heights in 2021.
Biola Men's Tennis also has a relatively even mix of solid returners and exciting newcomers.
Alexei Prokopchuk leads the way, coming off a year where he earned Biola Athletics Male Newcomer of the Year. He's joined by returners
Logan Blair,
Andres Meneses and
Ian Nieh, with
Erik Martinez returning this year following a year away. The men will be looking to build on 2020's 7-4 start.
