GENEVA, Ohio --- Katelyn Harper made history on Thursday as she became the first Biola Eagle to compete at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships.

The junior came in with the 26th-best time in the 400-individual medley and was primed to move up on competition day.

She swam during the second day of competition at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio and was inspired to an 18th-place finish with a time of 4:27.00. That was just two spots back from making it into the B-final in her first attempt at nationals.

After this historic swim another incredible season of Biola Swim & Dive comes to a close. The Eagles are back in action next fall, reloaded and ready to make some noise.
