BOERNE, Texas --- Kaylee Hall may have had her junior season cut short by COVID-19 cancellations. But by the time the shutdown happened in March it was already clear that Hall was a prototypical middle-of-the-order hitter for Cornerstone Chirstian High School. 

A Biola softball commit who plays under former Eagles Head Coach Lorie Coleman for the Warriors and for Corona Angels Texas, Hall made her commitment to Biola official alongside her twin sister Kendall in early November. She and her sister have helped Cornerstone Christian win 78 percent of its softball games over their first two years of varsity competition and Kaylee is excited about her fit in Head Coach Nikki Udria's program. 

"I chose Biola because it matched what I was looking for. I wanted a close community of people who cared for each other, and Biola fits that," said Hall. "I'm excited to meet new teammates and play with my twin in college."

Kaylee Hall burst onto the scene with a triple and homerun in her first game with the Warriors varsity squad as a sophomore. She went on to lead her district in homeruns (six), batting average (.525) and on-base percentage (.633) after that start and ended her sophomore season on a 15-game hitting streak according to MaxPreps.com. Hall added five more games to that hitting streak at the start of the 2020 campaign while simultaneously driving in an RBI in 13-straight contests between those years.

All told, the lefty has accumulated 16 homeruns and 16 multi-hit games with Cornerstone Christian High School. She also converted 43 of her 44 total chances in the field as a junior and plans to play first base and/or a corner outfield spot with the Eagles, following her upcoming season with the Warriors, of course. 

Outside of her deep commitment to her sport, Hall serves as a youth leader in her church's middle school ministry and has earned membership into two honors societies. She plans to major in kinesiology at Biola and hopes to create her own fitness business in the future.
