Athletics Week Of Giving Now Live!

Biola launches its first Week of Giving, which runs Jan. 27 - Feb. 1, 2020.

LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The inaugural Biola Athletics Week of Giving is now live! Athletics Week of Giving is a one-week stretch running between Monday, Jan. 27 and 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1. During the week Biola supporters are encouraged to give to the Biola athletic program(s) of their choice to help the student-athletes at BU reach new heights in 2020.

The university is hosting this fundraising effort through the JustGiving crowdfunding platform, which makes giving easy and accessible for any prospective supporter. The links to all giving pages can be found at the Athletics Week of Giving landing page.

Gifts may be designated to support any of Biola's 16 varsity programs or to the general Eagles Athletic Association, which supports all programs through the discretion of senior director of athletics Dr. Bethany Miller.

West Coast Sand & Gravel, Inc. is proudly supporting challenge gifts to serve as an extra incentive to make a gift to your favorite program. The three men's programs and three women's programs to finish with the most number of donors by the end of the giving challenge will benefit from added funds provided by the leadership at West Coast Sand & Gravel.

All dollars raised go into the designated team or department fundraising account. The coaches have discretion to spend these funds on what can best support their team, whether it's added travel, facility upgrades, student aid, team gear, coaching staff expansion or any other number of benefits.

The landing page linked above will have a leaderboard that's updated throughout the week to show which programs are leading the charge towards attaining the challenge gifts.
