LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Both Biola Cross Country programs are ranked in the first-ever NCAA Division II regional rankings they've been eligible for. The men's team is ranked no. 6 in the west region. The women's side sits at no. 8 in the first poll of the season.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association released its 2019 preseason polls on Tuesday, with both of Head Coach Sean Henning's squads making an appearance.

Biola Men's Cross Country is the only PacWest team featured in the men's top-10. The women's team is the top PacWest team featured on the women's regional poll. Academy of Art (no. 9) is the only other PacWest school to appear.

The next regional rankings will come out Sept. 17 at http://www.ustfccca.org.
