KNOXVILLE, Tennessee --- Biola Track & Field brings in a dual-sport athlete with hops as part of its 2020 incoming class. Sydney Kraslawsky played basketball and high jumped at the Christian Academy of Knoxville before choosing to compete for BU.

Kraslawsky has a personal-best high jump of five-feet-two-inches, and that was without track & field being her primary focus in high school. She was a basketball star who led her team to regional championships three times.

"I''m so excited for Biola because my dad went here and coming from Tennessee it's going to be an exciting new chapter for my last few school years!"

Off the track, Kraslawsky devotes her time to her church. She's been a middle school/high school leader for the last four years.

She also enjoys being outside and spending time with her friends and family. The high jumper plans to major in communications and wants to pursue a career in broadcasting or student ministry. 

Catch Kraslawsky and the rest of the new Eagles out of the track as they begin the first year of full NCAA Division II membership this February.
