Eagles Add Former Rainbow Warrior

Biola Swim & Dive picks up NCAA Division I transfer, Colin Reeve.

August 01, 2019

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. --- For the second time this decade Biola Swim & Dive picks up a transfer from NCAA Division I Hawaii - Manoa. Colin Reeve is the Eagles' latest import from the Rainbow Warriors, following the footsteps of Edward Campana (2014-16).

Reeve spent one season on the island, ending his year with a successful Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship meet, which happened to be swam right across the street at SPLASH!

The incoming sophomore set four season-bests during his time at the MPSF meet, going 1:55.29 in the 200-IM, 2:09.93 in the 200-breaststroke, :58.13 in the 100-breaststroke and :51.87 in the 100-butterfly.

"I chose Biola because of its excellent academic atmosphere and for its strong Christian values," said Reeve.

Reeve is originally from El Dorado Hills in Northern California, right near Folsom and Folsom Lake. He went to high school at Oak Ridge High School where he was a part of back-to-back state championship teams between 2016-17.

He earned multiple All-American honors in high school, while simultaneously competing club with the Sierra Marlins team. He swam six years of club.

Reeve plans to major in business management and eventually pursue an MBA and career in consulting.

Catch him and the rest of his teammates in the pool beginning this October. It's the Eagles' first season with postseason eligibility since 2016-17, so expect some big things.
