CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. --- After posting three top-10 finishes during the 2018-19 season, Biola double major Tori Roeske added one more prestigious honor to her resume on Monday. Roeske was named an All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association, making her one of just five representatives from the PacWest and the only Biola Eagle on the list made up of women from the NAIA and every level of the NCAA. 

The WGCA's All-American Scholar distinction is limited to women's golf student-athletes who maintain a 3.50 GPA while playing as a team-representative in at least 50 percent of their program's tournaments. Roeske played in eight of Biola's nine tournaments this past year while earning a 3.97 GPA in her business administration and Spanish double major. 

Roeske also earned NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honors this year and helped Biola Women's Golf earn its first NCCAA National Championship last October, shooting 80-77-78 for a sixth-place finish. Her 79.12 scoring average as a junior currently places her third in program history for scoring average with a mark of 79.73 while she continues to hold the program's top spot in career top-10 finishes with nine. 

Roeske will return to a Biola women's golf team in 2019-20 that is eager to solidify itself as a perennial contender for PacWest Championships and NCAA Regional berths. The Eagles earned a second-place finish at the Championships in 2019 and return their top seven scorers.
