Signing Announcement for Dylan Memory

Memory Prepares For Bright Future

Dylan Memory commits to Biola Men’s Soccer after impacting the Redlands soccer and baseball teams with a strong work ethic.

June 03, 2019

REDLANDS, Calif. --- Since he enrolled at Redlands High School, Dylan Memory has worn a Terriers uniform basically year round.

Memory made an immediate impact on the Terriers' midfield as a freshman and was named to All-Citrus Belt League list before playing three more varsity seasons for the Terriers soccer and baseball teams. Memory went on to earn three more all-league selections as a midfielder and will ride his All-Area selection from the Daily Bulletin Newspaper into his collegiate soccer career with Biola University.

Memory will bring a mastery of the fundamental skills and leadership qualities to the holding mid position after captaining the Terriers to back-to-back CBL League Championships in 2018 and 2019. Redlands advanced to the CIF Quarterfinals in Memory's junior year after the Terriers went a perfect 9-0 at home and only lost once in true road matches. Then Memory collected five goals and 13 assists according to Maxpreps during his senior year while the Terriers went 7-0-3 in league play.

Away from Redlands soccer, Memory was part of a Strikers FC club team that was ranked in California's top-10 and reached the National Cup Quarters. He was also an outfielder and pitcher on Redlands baseball team while earning four scholar-athlete recognitions. He'll major in kinesiology at Biola with the hopes of using physical therapist training to work for a sports team or start his own business.

Wherever Memory ends up after his time in college, it seemed very clear to him that Biola was where he should go:

I chose Biola because of how at home I felt when I was on campus and it was a place I felt God calling me to come to grow in my relationship with Him," said Memory. " I am very excited to continue my soccer career at Biola and to see how much I can grow both as a person and a player over the next years."

Dylan Memory will join the Biola Eagles for their first season of NCAA postseason eligibility in 2019. More information about other incoming student-athletes can be found on the Committed Athletes page.
