GARDEN GROVE, Calif. --- Biola Track & Field adds a CIF Finalist to its sprints mix with Jacob DeWitt out of local powerhouse Orange Lutheran High School.

DeWitt was a finalist in the 4x100m relay with the others from OLU. He paired up to run a :42.81 in the event in the Trinity League finals and then a :42.97 in the CIF Finals in 2018 and followed it up with a :42.72 in the CIF Finals in 2019, finishing fourth.

"I chose Biola to increase my knowledge of God's word while receiving an incredible education and competing in the sport I love," said DeWitt.

DeWitt also earned all-Trinity League honors during his time running for the Lancers. He competed in the sprint relays and also ran the 100m and 200m. He comes to BU with a 100m personal-best of :11.10 and a 200m PR of :23.14.

He plans to study business management at Biola.
