Biola Track & Field concludes the regular season on a high note.

FULLERTON, Calif. --- Biola Track & Field closed out its regular season on Friday at the CSU Fullerton Titan Twilight Meet. It was a solid day for the small group Head Coach Sean Henning had in action, resulting in two event wins and a pair of collegiate-bests.


Clara Haynes had the biggest win of the day, taking first in the women's 3,000m steeplechase with her time of 11:21.45, which was over two minutes better than the second-place runner.

Ryan St. Pierre had the other event win for BU. The sophomore took first place in the men's 1,500m with a 4:02.14. It was St. Pierre's third time going under 4:03 in his last four times running the event.

Biola had three men finish in the top-8 in the 800m. Aditya Lal led the way with a fourth-place finish and time of 1:55.34. He was just one spot ahead of Nic Nelson, who set a collegiate-best with his 1:55.60. Rounding out the group was Mathias Davis who went eighth with his 1:58.83. It was Davis' first running of the 800m this year.

The women's team got a top-8 finish in the 800m as well, with Siena Stacy having a collegiate-best time of 2:19.06. She finished eighth in the event.

The Eagles also got top-5 finishes from Hannah Hubbard (3rd - TJ), Sarah Prystupa (4th - PV) and Paige LaBare (5th - 100/7th - 200).

The next action for Biola is the NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, booked for May 8-10 in Winona Lake, Indiana.
