PLAINFIELD, Ill. --- PacWest men's soccer team are going to be seeing double when James and John Kilgallon join the Biola Eagles in August, much to the relief of the Metro Suburban Conference after the Kilgallons helped carry the Wheaton Academy Warriors to their seventh-straight conference title.

The twins committed to Head Coach Todd Elkins' roster after anchoring the dangerous attack for a Warriors side that scored 76 goals last season. Both James and John were called players to watch by the Chicago Daily Herald in its August preseason preview and the men lived up to the billing. John was an all-sectional pick after scoring 17 goals and leading the Warriors with 25 assists. James scored 21 goals and had 17 assists to earn All-Midwest recognition and to become one of two Wheaton Academy student-athletes to earn All-State honors.

James Kilgallon was inducted into the Wheaton Academy Hall of Honor as a result of his senior-year distinctions and being a three-year starter for the Warriors as they posted back-to-back 20-win seasons and lost just one match during the Kilgallon's sophomore year. In this year alone, the Kilgallons and fellow incoming Eagles Owen Setran helped Wheaton Academy to three-straight top-25 rankings in Top Drawer Soccer's Fab 50, which ranks the best high school soccer programs for the majority United States, and helped the Warriors finish the season as the 14th best team in Illinois.

Fittingly enough, the three commits to Biola Men's Soccer all scored goals in Wheaton Academy's victory in early October that clinched their MSC Championship. They then went to the Regional Final Match for the second-straight season about three weeks later.

The Kilgallons will both major in Accounting at Biola and were drawn to the soccer program because of the opportunity to play with former teammates Setran and JD Gunn and because of possibility of developing in the midfield under Elkins in similar fashion to Biola stars Kousei Mattox and Joey O'Keefe.

James and John Kilgallon will join the Biola Eagles for their first season of NCAA postseason eligibility in 2019. More information about other incoming student-athletes can be found on the Committed Athletes page.
