WINONA LAKE, Ind. --- Biola closed out its 2019 Track & Field season with another memorable day at the Bernard & Linnie Key Track & Field Complex. The Eagles concluded competition at the 2019 National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with two more championships, a handful of All-American honors and a fourth-place team finish.
 
Biola's first champion of the day was Sarah Prystupa in the women's pole vault. Prystupa's opening height of 3.15m was already greater than the final height of the pair of second place finishers. She'd ultimately clear that number, 3.30m and 3.45m to win the event.
 
The next win came in the women's 5,000m where Mackenna Mason dominated the longest distance event for the second-consecutive day. She followed up her 10,000m win from Thursday by taking Friday's 5k with a time of 18:13.37. Mason out-paced the second-place runner by nine seconds.
 
Another highlight for the Eagles was the final event of the whole meet, the 4x400m relay. Biola's foursome looked a little different from what was originally imagined, with Hannah Hubbard stepping in as an alternate after a full two days of competition in her jumps events. The reimagined lineup did its job well, finishing third with a time of 4:08.94. Hubbard did great as the third runner, keeping Biola within reach of the podium, and then Shelby Rogers anchored the Eagles with a great split to move the team into third.
 
The 800m finals was one of the biggest results of the day for BU. A pair of freshman earned All-American honors with second-place efforts. The first was Siena Stacy, who ran a season PR of 2:19.04 to find her way onto the podium. On the men's side, Luke Sutherland led for much of the race before coming in second (by a hair) to the winner from Campbellsville. Sutherland recorded a 1:56.13.
 
Hannah Hubbard picked up her second All-American honors of the meet by finishing third in the long jump. Her sixth effort was her recorded mark of 5.38m. It was the effort that moved her from fourth place up onto the podium.
 
In the men's run of the 5,000m Biola took half of the top-4 spots thanks to great efforts from Ryan Thompson and Ryan St. Pierre. Thompson spent a lot of the race in second and finished a step back from that spot with a third-place time of 15:20.89. Ryan St. Pierre crossed the line next for BU surging down the stretch to finish fourth with a 15:29.51.
 
Biola freshman runners missed All-American honors by the slimmest of margins in both of the 400m dash finals. First up was Shelby Rogers in the women's race. She went :58.73  to place fourth and finish less than three-tenths of a second out of third-place. Then came Mathias Davis, who also managed a fourth-place finish. He charged hard from lane eight and went :49.81. He was less than two-tenths back from third.
 
The day begin with the 1,500m finals. Biola had three student-athletes in those events and came away with three top-15 finishes. Kaitlin Natividad scored for the Eagles by placing eighth in the women's race with a time of 5:13.33. Ryan St. Pierre led BU in the men's event, placing ninth with a 4:07.48. He missed the top-8 by just .11 of a second. Nic Nelson finished 15^th with a 4:20.48.
