LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola Track & Field wrapped up its week with the conclusion of competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific. Paige LaBare was the highlight, once again breaking her own school record in the 100m.

LaBare finished 45th overall with a time of :12.14 to better her record by :00.01. She also ran the 200m and finished 72nd with a :25.24.

Hannah Hubbard set a personal-best in the long jump with a new mark of 5.52m. She finished 40th overall. She had an even better finish in the triple jump, placing 34th with a mark of 11.46m.

Heidi Sowers saw a new personal-best come in the 100m hurdles as she finished 49th with a :15.04 to lead Biola's effort in the event.

On the men's side, J'Vaughn Singleton had a great day with a pair of season-bests. He was 31st in the triple jump with a top mark of 13.64m and 40th in the 110m hurdles with a time of :15.46.

Mathias Davis led BIola's effort in the 400m. He set a season-best in the 400m with 57th-place finish and time of :49.61.

Later on the distance group had a few members competing in the 1,500m. Ryan St. Pierre placed 82nd with a 3:56.75. It was a collegiate-best for the sophomore.

Shannon Howell and Clara Haynes were the top placers in the women's 1,500m going 90th and 96th, respectively. It was a collegiate-best for Howell who ran a 4:45.13. It was also a top finish for Haynes who beat her old time by almost six seconds with a 4:45.91.

Next up for Biola is the PacWest Track & Field Championships at Azusa Pacific next Friday and Saturday.
