SHINGLE SPRINGS, Calif. --- Kolya Vos is a boss. She captained her high school swim team and made it to sectionals all four years of high school. Now, she'll look to have similar success with her commitment to Head Coach Ryan Kauth's Biola Swim & Dive program.

"I chose Biola because of the way I felt on the campus," said Vos. "I was immediately super comfortable and everybody was very welcoming and nice. I'm also super excited to pursue a nursing major and compete in the pool with my team!"

Vos attends Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, where she's spent all four seasons competing on the varsity team for the Bruins. She swims sprint freestyle and backstroke.

She's earned scholar-athlete honors twice and not only captained the high school team, but she also co-captained her USA team. She plans to major in nursing when she arrives at Biola this fall.

When she's not swimming or studying she loves to ride her horse and is very passionate about animals.

Catch Vos and the rest of the large incoming class as the begin the 2019-20 season with the PCSC Relays and Pentathlon this fall.
