HENDERSON, Nev. --- Biola Swim & Dive's out-of-state representation continues to grow with the addition of distance freestyle and butterfly swimmer, Gabe Weber.

Weber joins the Eagles after four years competing for the Gators of Green Valley High School. He has a GPA of 4.8 and will graduate as the school valedictorian this coming spring.

He specializes in the 200-butterfly and 500- and 1000-freestyle, qualifying for regional and state competition throughout his high school career. Weber earned the High Point Award as a sophomore and was named to the Nevada All-State Academic team all four years.

"I chose Biola because I instantly felt at home and I am thrilled to swim for such a great program with all these amazing people," said Weber.

Weber plans to major in computer science with the goal of a career in computer programming. He loves math and physics and tutors his peers in those areas.
