LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola Cross Country continued to be the fastest in the National Christian College Athletic Association this week, and it may have proved to be the fastest in the PacWest Conference, too. En route to accomplishing that, it's runners raked in four weekly honors at the conference and national level.

On Monday it was announced that the Eagles' top two runners of the weekend, Gabe Plendcio (25:16 - 8k) and Mackenna Mason (22:13 - 6k) were named NCCAA Runners of the Week for the second time this season.

Those awards were followed up on Tuesday with the Eagles earning two PacWest Freshman of the Week awards. Clara Haynes was the top first-year woman with her fourth-place finish and time of 22:27. It is the second time this season she's earned PacWest Freshman of the Week. Jared Donnel led Biola's first-year effort for the first time this season with a 25:53 to scoop up the men's award.

The team is back in action once again at the end of this week. Saturday they travel up to Central Park in Santa Clarita for the annual The Master's University Mustang Invitational.
