EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. --- After completing three successful varsity seasons at Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, Siena Stacy decided to join Head Coach Sean Henning's growing Biola Track & Field and Biola Cross Country programs.

Stacy was on varsity cross country all three years in high school and varsity track & field twice. She ran the 800m and 1,600m during her senior season and will run a mix of events for coach Henning during her time as an Eagle.

Once she arrives at Biola this fall, Stacy intends to have a very enriching experience at Biola by participating in intercollegiate athletics, majoring in nursing, going on missions trips and be active in student life.

She hopes to go on to a career as a nurse specializing in medical missions trips following her time at Biola.

Her first athletic event wearing Biola's red and white will be the 2018 Biola Invitational at Craig Regional Park in Fullerton, California on Sept. 8.

"I chose Biola because this is the school provides me with the opportunity to become a nurse, keep competing in track, go on missions and most of all keep God as the center of my life," said Stacy.
