ORANGE, Calif. --- Southern California is flooded with talented swimmers, and Biola Swim & Dive added another one of them to its program with the addition of El Modena High School alum, Patrick Lambert.

Lambert comes to Biola after swimming three varsity seasons at El Modena, including spending two years as the team captain for the Vanguards. In 2017 Lambert earned the prized title as season MVP.

He swims 100-breaststroke and 200-breaststroke and could help out on relays as well. He's a gifted student, landing on the honor roll in 2017 and 2018 and twice being named a scholar athlete.

"I chose Biola because I was attracted to the positive attitude of everyone I have met so far, the excellent academic and athletic programs and the fantastic Spiritual development I have heard so much about," said Lambert.

Lambert plans to major in biochemistry and go on to have a career working for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) or the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The swim and dive season begins in late-September with an intrasquad meet on campus. Catch Lambert and the rest of his new teammates then.
