LA MIRADA, Calif. --- It is sure to be another exciting year for Biola Swim & Dive, as the program enters year two under Head Coach Ryan Kauth and is coming off a historic 2017-18 season. The new coach announced a 2018-19 meet schedule that features 14 different meets, a trip to Alaska and six meets in the La Mirada Area.

The fun begins with an annual intrasquad meet, kicking off the competition at Lansing Pool in late-September. The first official intercollegiate competition of the season comes one week later with the customary season-opening PCSC Relay meet and PCSC Pentathlon meet, both at SPLASH! Aquatic Center Oct. 5-6. 

In early-November, the Eagles head to Azusa for a head-to-head dual meet against top rival, Azusa Pacific. That comes two weeks before the highlight of the women's season, which is a trip up to Alaska to dual the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks. The women's team swims back-to-back dual meets at the Nanooks' home facility on Nov. 16 and 17. The trip is the third time Biola Swim & Dive will head up to Alaska, and marks the first trip there since the 2015-16 season.

The most important meet of the regular season is Nov. 30 - Dec. 1 in South Gate, Calif.. The Eagles will make their sixth-consecutive appearance at La Verne's Collegiate Winter Invite. This year the event is hosted at the South Gate Swim Stadium and will be where most of the swimmers record their season-bests. 

The most exciting meet of the regular season comes at the beginning on January (Jan. 12), when Biola hosts coach Kauth's old school Concordia Irvine for a home dual meet at Lansing Pool. The meet will be live streamed at Biola's Video Portal.

Finally, the team will look to shatter its previous season and career-bests when it ends the season at the Pacific Collegiate Swimming & Diving Conference Championships Feb. 13-16 at the Splash! Aquatic Center.
