COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- Kenzie Elliott twice earned All-State honors during her high school cross country career in Colorado. She was a three-year team captain and will hope to experience similar success in her career at Biola. 

Elliott spent four years on varsity in both cross country and track & field for The Classical Academy and captained both teams at some point during her high school career. She was a part of a medal winning 4x800m relay team during her junior season, finishing second at the Colorado Track & Field State Championships. That relay team also finished fourth the year before. She managed top-10 finishes in three events her junior year, including a sixth-place mark in the 800m and ninth-place in the 1,600m.

In addition to the individual success, Elliott also led her team to strong finishes at the state meet. Her track team won the state title both her sophomore and junior seasons, and the cross country teams she captained finished second in 2016 and third in 2017.

"I chose Biola because of the Christ centered atmosphere and genuine people," said Elliott.

Elliott plans to major in psychology during her time studying at Biola. She will be set up well for academic success after earning varsity academic letters all four high school seasons and becoming a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

Her brother, JD, is currentyl attending Biola.
