TURLOCK, Calif. --- The final round of the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational did not see a lot of movement on the team leaderboard. No. 29 California Baptist completed a wire-to-wire victory to win the tournament while the majority of teams that moved their position were only displaced one place up or down.

Biola was the one exception to that trend and moved up two spots on Tuesday into the top-10 after it rallied during the final quarter of the round.

Still in 12th place with all five of its players through 14 holes on Tuesday, Biola held par as a team down the final stretch to hold par while Academy of Art and No. 39 CSU San Marcos added a few more bogeys. All five Eagles were +1 or better through their last five holes of the tournament, with the Austin Bishop leading the way  at -2 from holes nine through 13.

Bishop carded his best round of the tournament with a 74 during his final playthrough and moved from 38th to 30th-place to became the Eagles' best individual-finisher.

Also crucial in the Eagles' eventual clipping on a ranked team in CSU San Marcos were the stretch performances of Samuel Shih and Kaden Page. Shih met par on six of his final seven holes while Page was -1 through his final five holes, including two birdies, to help the Eagles to their second-best team score of the season in a three-round tournament at 916.

Parker Buck's three birdies on the day were weighed down by his three double bogeys. But he was still able to come in one stroke behind Austin and finish the competition with a 227, which matched his best three-round score of the season that he initially set back in February. Kyle McAbee accomplished a similar feat by shaving four strokes off his top 54-hole score by shooting a 77 in all three rounds.

The final tournament on the Eagles' schedule is the PacWest championship at the end of April. The conference championship will be held at the Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona beginning on April 23. For a recap of the first two rounds, click here.
