LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Hailey Boyett returned to the Eagles' starting lineup this week after missing eight games and immediately made a huge impact. The Biola slugger helped the team to four wins, hit almost .500 and drove in seven runs to earn her first PacWest Player of the Week honors.

Boyett becomes the first Biolan from a spring sport to earn conference weekly honors. She helped the team to a pair of run-rule wins over Marymount on Thursday and then lifted the Eagles to two wins over previously undefeated Vanguard on Friday.

Biola is now 11-3 on the season and has not lost a single game in which Hailey Boyett has been in the lineup. Boyett was 6-for-13 on the week with three of her hits being homeruns. She now has 14 RBI on the season, which leads Biola and is tied for fifth in the conference.

She led all conference players this week in RBI (7) and total bases (15). She's touched 26 total bases this season for an insane 1.368 slugging percentage.

Boyett and the Eagles open their PacWest Conference era this evening in Hawai'i with their first conference doubleheader against Chaminade. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. PT.
