LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The Point Loma Sea Lions came to the Biola tennis center and picked up their second conference win of the season on Saturday by a score of 8-1.

Biola fell short in the three doubles pairing to begin the competition and did not get any points in singles until Lauren Lee came up with a straight-set win in No. 4 singles.

The Sea Lions took a 3-0 lead after winning each doubles set by a margin of at least three games and then increased their lead to 6-0 with straight-set wins in No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 singles.  

The Eagles kept battling through the early adversity and eventually found success to conclude the matchup with Esther Lee 

Lee finished the day by making things very interesting in No.1 singles. She won the first set 6-4 and forced Nikki Newell to win the super tiebreaker after she tied the set count at one a piece.

Biola is now 0-2 at home headed into Monday's Cornerstone Cup matchup with Azusa Pacific.

The match with the Cougars is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
