LA MIRADA, Calif. --- With the volleyball team completing unblemished trip through the NCCAA DI National Championship field over the weekend, Biola's fall-sport teams completed their seasons with a total of four NCCAA Championships, several All-American recognitions and 35 scholar-athlete awards given for their success in the classroom.

Members of all five fall-sport teams were recognized as NCCAA scholar-athletes, an honor given to student-athletes who are a junior, senior or graduate student and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.40 on a 4.00 scale.

The volleyball team had the highest percentage of its team make the scholar-athlete cut with five of its 16 members earning the honor, while Women's Soccer had the highest number of total scholar-athletes with eight. Five members of the NCCAA National Champion women's cross country Team were recognized along with back-to-back individual NCCAA Champion Gabe Plendcio from Men's Cross Country. Additionally, four defenders from the men's soccer team made the scholar-athlete list to give Biola a total of 23 recipients announced over the last week.

Seven student-athletes from the men's and women's golf teams were also given the award earlier in the fall, bringing Biola an even number of 30 scholar-athletes in its first season of the 2018-19 athletic year. A full list of Biola's scholar-athletes is listed below.
