WAIKOLOA, Hawaii --- With other teams moving up and down around them, the Biola Eagles carded an identical round to Monday with a 305 in round two to stay within a stroke of the top-10.

Senior Austin Bishop started the day at even par and held that standing through six holes before completing the round in 77 strokes. But it was Vacaville, California native Kyle McAbee who had the biggest jump up the leaderboard for Head Coach Cory Page's team. After starting +2 through his first hole, McAbee rebounded immediately with a par and birdie on the next two holes that jump-started the senior to a one-under mark through 15 holes.

McAbee carded a 73 on Tuesday to climb 11 spots on the leaderboard and into a tie for 35 place. In the meantime, the Eagles sit in 11th place at +34 over 36 holes, just one stroke behind Saint Martin's.

"Today was hot and humid again but very little wind. And the guys were having to grind out a lot of pars," said Coach Page. "We also struggled putting today, burning edges all day and not getting much to drop."

Like Bishop, Kaden Page also turned in a 77 on Tuesday, recording par on 13 holes and improving on his first round score by two strokes. Benjamin Crumley got through his second round with a 78 to round out the countable scores for Biola on Tuesday and had a marked improvement on his front nine by shooting a +1 over those holes.

The Eagles are still ahead of three other PacWest teams with one round to play. Conference peer Hawaii Pacific leapfrogged Biola along with four other teams to go from 14th place to ninth on Tuesday while Hawaii Hilo's A-team took the overall lead from Western Washington with a -1 as a team.

The tournament will conclude Wednesday with one final round at Waikoloa Resort King's Course. Play is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time
