LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola Cross Country wasn't shooting for the moon in its final meet of the regular season when it ran at CSU Fullerton this past Friday, but it hit it anyways! The Eagles earned a win on the men's side and second place finish on the women's side, which resulted in three weekly awards for the BU runners.

Mackenna Mason paced the women's effort and was rewarded with a National Christian College Athletic Association runner of the week honor on Monday. Then, on Tuesday, the PacWest Conference announced its weekly awards and Gabe Plendcio earned conference runner of the week for the fourth time, while Clara Haynes was recognized as the PacWest's top female freshman for the fourth time this season.

Mason finished 10th overall with a time of 18:20.15 in the women's 5k. Haynes placed 17th with an 18:44.14 to help Biola finish second in the field of 15 on Friday night.

Plendcio led a workout run for the men that still resulted in a team win. He also finished 10th overall with an individual time of 24:57.96.

Next up for these teams is the PacWest Championships, hosted by Fresno Pacific, on Friday Nov. 2.
