LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The PacWest conference office named Tori Roeske and Jules Liobl Co-PacWest Golfers of the Week on Thursday after the pair of juniors tied for second at the ERAU Co-Ed Invitational last week.
This makes three Golfer of the Week honors for Biola Women's Golf after
Sami Penor became the first PacWest weekly honoree in program history.Â
Loibl provided the punctuation mark for the Eagles' victory on Tuesday as Biola beat the field by 17 strokes. Liobl turned in the best third round of the tournament with a one-under (71) and improved on her previous best at the invitational by five stokes.
Roeske played the role of front-runner all three rounds and never fell lower than second place on the individual leaderboard. The Westlake Village, California native made four birdies on Tuesday to keep her score under 80 at +5 (77) and finished with the best-three round tournament of her career with a 224.
