LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola University and Azusa Pacific University are pleased to announce West Coast Sand & Gravel as the official title sponsor of the Cornerstone Cup.

The generous contribution from West Coast Sand & Gravel will enable the two institutions to raise their rivalry to an entirely new level beginning in 2017-18. Both institutions will receive official Cornerstone Cup T-shirts and the title sponsorship enables the creation of the trophy, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
 
West Coast Sand & Gravel is a wonderful partner to both institutions and will be fully immersed in the healthy rivalry through the Cornerstone Cup. It is a natural partnership since the company shares the same vision and values as both faith-based institutions.

The company has been in business since 1968 and serves California and Phoenix with rock, sand, gravel and dirt import and export, environmental waste hauling, sports field products and other construction needs.
 
They are actively involved with Biola University's construction and recently helped make possible a brand new infield and warning track at Biola Softball's Freedom Field.
 
West Coast Sand & Gravel's core values of safety, service and stewardship have made the company a light in the local business community and a treasured partner to both campuses. Azusa Pacific earned the first possible points in the Cornerstone Cup competition with their 3-2 win in volleyball last week. They are guaranteed at least a share of the 10 points available in volleyball.
